What We Have Been Working On
ReferAus is a new platform, and we are building in public. Here is a rundown of the changes we shipped this month.
Real Provider Data
We removed all placeholder and demo content from the site. Every provider you see on ReferAus is a real, verified NDIS provider. No fake listings, no made-up reviews. If it is on the platform, it is real.
Subscription Payments
Providers can now sign up for a paid plan directly on the site. We have three tiers — Starter ($29/mo), Pro ($79/mo), and Premium ($149/mo) — with Stripe handling payments securely. Free listings are still available for providers who want basic visibility.
Cleaner, Honest Copy
We cleaned up marketing language across the site. No more inflated numbers or vague claims. The mailing list section now says what it does without pretending we have thousands of subscribers. We would rather be honest and small than impressive and fake.
Design Polish
Small but meaningful design improvements across the homepage, provider profiles, and blog. Faster load times, better mobile layout, and consistent branding throughout.
What Is Next
- Provider onboarding flow — making it easier for providers to create and manage their profiles
- Participant reviews — real reviews from real NDIS participants
- Search improvements — better filtering by service type, location, and availability
- Registration status badges — showing which providers are registered ahead of the July 2026 deadline
